Beyond the Kitchen Influences
Beyond the Kitchen is influenced in many special ways. We are strong advocates of the local food movement and appreciate what others are doing in the country to facilitate the revolution. We have the fortune of working with many talented farmers and chefs who appreciate delicious fresh food and share the same goals.
Matthew Domingo - Farm to Fork Events I first met Matthew at a workshop in Medford, Oregon where he gave a presentation to many food related businessmen on social media back in 2009. It wasn't until later that I learned he was a chef in his own right and was starting a program that would help support local farmers and wineries not to mention select charitable causes that helped promote sustainability. We had the opportunity to work together later that year for a Taste of the Rogue Valley event promoting local area farmers (See the VIDEO here). I have always supported his Farm To Fork program and hope to work more with his organization in the future. In the mean time and if you find yourself visiting Southern Oregon, we HIGHLY recommend seeing him as his work has been a great inspiration to us and consider him a roll model for the sustainable future. His fun, fresh approach to farmstead events should not be missed. See what he's up to as you won't be disappointed. Check him out here.
