What can I expect from a Beyond The Kitchen Dinner?
All of our guests will be greeted with a warm and welcoming reception right on the farm upon arrival. A refreshment beverage will be offered as our friendly staff passes around our first course that will preview the delights to come. After everyone is gathered, a brief and educational tour of the farm will be offered by our host farmer as you learn about the magic that went into the dinner you're about to partake in. After the brief tour, you will be shown to your seats at the dinner table and the second course of our locally sourced dinner will be served along with wines from our featured winery. As we progress through the third and fourth course, our farmers, winemakers and food artisans will share with us uplifting stories about them and what they do. Our non-profit beneficiary will speak about the inspiring things they are accomplishing as you become more connected to the source of your food. You are encouraged to mingle and ask questions, and also are welcomed to visit our "kitchen" and see our chef as he creates the food you are eating right in front of your eyes. As the fifth and final dessert course is served, you will be offered locally roasted, french pressed coffee to complement the sweet bounty of the farm. As the day light begins to turn to dusk, our kerosene lanterns will be lit as you linger over a compelling evening, enjoying company and conversation with new friends as the reminiscing begins, and will continue for months to come.
What if I don't drink wine?
We offer farm made Italian cream sodas made with carbonated local spring water, fresh fruit syrups made with the farmer's fruit, and fresh farm cream. We also have local spring water available for everyone.
